Elegant Wire Wrapped pendant Tutorial

Try making this beautiful un-drilled faceted amethyst wire wrapping pendant with me. 

In this full wire wrapping tutorial I have used:

20mm x 15mm faceted teardrop Amethyst

25cm length of 0.6mm (24 gauge) 925 silver wire

10cm length of 0.6mm 925 silver wire

Mandrel pliers

Wire cutters

Needle nosed pliers

 

*1 When creating the bail at the top, it needs to come forward enough to sit over the top of your gemstone.

 

*2 When wrapping the the wire around the front of the gemstone at the end, ensure the wire is around the narrower part of the stone, to keep it secure.
