Galaxy wire ring Tutorial

"Galaxy" wire Ring Making Guide

This video is an easy to follow tutorial for 3 wire wrapped rings. I love wire wrapping rings!

Each ring demo is the full tutorial, so you can watch one or all three. As each ring starts off in a similar way, you may want to skip to beginning if watching more than one of these tutorials. The brass ring is tricker, as brass is a harder wire than copper, so that section of the video is longer to show how long it takes me to fidget the ring into the right position to get the right bend for the desired end look.

Tools you will need:

A ring mandrel

Wire cutters

Needle nosed pliers

Round nosed pliers(which I forget to add to the video)

What I use for each ring:

Style one: the copper ring

2x 25cm copper wire 0.8mm/20 gauge

A 6mm faceted electroplated bead

Style two: the silver ring 2x 25cm silver plated copper (or 925 silver) 0.8mm/20 gauge

A 6mm silver faceted bead

6 x silver seed beads

Style 3 2x 25cm brass wire (or gold filled or pure gold, but gold is very expensive)

A 6mm electroplated faceted bead

Happy crafting x
