Gemstone wire ring Tutorials

Gemstone Wire Ring Making Guide

This ring is easily made using my wire ring making kit.

I use about 25cm of wire for small rings(up to an I) 27.5cm for medium rings (up to a P) and 30cm for large rings.

Thread your round or irregular Gemstone onto your wire then place it on the central point of the wire. Wrap the wire around the mandrel as shown in the video.

When making your first ring, I recommend making a practice ring.

If you don't have one of my ring making kits, you can use 0.8mm or 1mm soft copper or sterling silver wire.

I also like using stainless steel for rings as its hard wearing and tarnish resistant.
